Man Guilty of Attempted Murder, Botched Robbery at Spanish Grocery Store

Annapolis, MD - - Anne Arundel County State's Attorney Anne Colt Leitess announced today that a county jury found 28-year-old Darius Cameron of Glen Burnie guilty of two counts of Attempted Second-Degree Murder, three counts of First-Degree Assault, two counts of Attempted Armed Robbery, Use of a Handgun in Commission of a Felony and Use of a Handgun in a Crime of Violence in the 2011 botched robbery at an Annapolis Spanish grocery store.

No Charges Filed in Fatal Annapolis Parade Accident

Annapolis, MD - - On July 4, 2013 Kyle Aldridge, 7, of Baltimore was a passenger on a trailer that was being utilized as a float for the Annapolis Independence Day parade. The trailer was carrying a motorcycle that was used to simulate wheelies. Aldridge was seated on the left side of the trailer in front of the left side fender. As the GMC van that was pulling the trailer began to move at a slow speed toward West Street, Aldridge fell to the street and was struck by the left trailer tire. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
